Hi Jack Beats! Your thoughts on coming to Singapore for Worldwide Festival?

Really looking forward to it, looks like its going to be an awesome event!

What does Worldwide mean to you?

Just that it’s universal wherever you are in the world, be it music or anything else, it reaches all parts of the globe.

What should one expect from a set by Jack Beats?

Lots of bass heavy, club music with a lot of our tracks plus stuff you've never heard before

What is Jack Beats made of?

2 people who make hybrid music together for people who want to go wild on dancefloors!

What is it that drew you guys to hip hop in the first place?

We both loved the whole culture behind it, the fashion, the style. Also the art of dj'ing was a huge part of hip hop that we loved.

You’ve done tons of remixes over your career. Tell us how you approach a remix project?

We usually have a specific direction before we start the remix, and try to stick to that wherever possible. Then we usually dissect the track to oblivion and write a new one, which often comes out with hardly any of the original parts.

Your bio tells us you represent the “new wave in British house”. Do you agree with that? Or, how should your bio read?

Yeah I guess we represent the new wave of British bass music. Our tempo is house but our music is somewhat removed from standard house as we all know.

How have you been handling your success? Are you using your new powers for good or evil?

Lots and lots of evil.....:haha. Nah we've both been in music far too long now to see this as anything but positive. We both had success very early on in our careers also, so I guess we've gone through our evil stage already.

If it weren’t for Jack Beats, what would you be doing?

Still working in music as DJs and probably producing other weird types of music!
