Kidkanivel’s one of those fine UK talents that hasn’t had the credit he deserves. We were first played one of his records in the back of someone’s car on a Sunday afternoon in London by a friend who knew him, and we were grabbed by his funky hip-hop flavours and humorous lyrics.
